Make it properly or don't make it at all
Every print gets inspected before it's packed. If it's not good enough for our own desk, it's not good enough to ship. Rejects get recycled or reworked, never sold.
Ignite 3D started the way most good workshops do — with one printer, a spool of filament, and a list of things we couldn't buy anywhere else. That first printer turned into two, then four, then a workshop. The "just for me" projects turned into pieces friends wanted, then friends of friends, then strangers on the internet.
Somewhere in between the failed prints and the 3am firmware updates, it stopped being a hobby. We realised there was a gap in the market — not for cheap, mass-produced plastic junk (there's plenty of that), but for locally made, properly finished 3D printed products that actually hold up. Pieces designed with intent, printed on tuned machines, checked by someone who cares if they look right.
That's what Ignite 3D is. Every product is printed in our Australian workshop, inspected by hand, and packed ourselves. We know the slicer settings that worked. We know which filament batch produced which print. If something goes wrong with one of our pieces, you're talking to the person who made it — not a call centre three time zones away.
We're still small, and we plan to stay that way. Small enough to care about every print that leaves the door. Serious enough to treat this like the craft it is.

FDM printing is incredible, but it's not magic. We'll tell you what it's great for and what it isn't — no overselling, no overpromising. If another process is better suited to your project, we'll say so.
No offshore factories, no drop-shipping from warehouses we've never seen. Everything is printed here, shipped from here, and priced fairly for what it takes to make.
Ignite 3D is a small operation — and that's on purpose. Every design decision, print run, and packed order goes through the same pair of hands. Drop us a line and you'll be talking to the person actually making your piece.
